Riviera Energy Corporation, a Midland, Texas based oil &
gas transaction advisory firm, announces the completion of
the sale of Triag Energy Operating, Inc. and Northport Production’s
Neva West (Strawn) Unit properties located in north central
Schleicher County, Texas near the community of Hulldale.
The divestment package consisted of one
property, with a total land position of 2,657 acres. The
divestment included (20) active wells and was operated by
Triag. The Working Interest sold was 100% with and an NRI
of 86.3%. The production sold is 59 BOPD and 104 MCFPD from
the Strawn formation at approximately 6,000′.

Riviera Energy Corporation, Riviera Energy Corporation, a
Midland, Texas based oil & gas transaction advisory firm,
has been exclusively retained by Just Oil & Gas to divest
it’s operated interest in properties located in Ward and Winkler
Counties, Texas. Total gross
production for the package is approximately 73 BOPD &
435 MCFPD.
The divestiture package is currently being
prepared and should be available in mid-January.

ENERGY COMPLETES THE SALE OF ASSETS FOR CAPROCK OIL AND GAS,
INC.

Riviera Energy Corporation , a Midland, Texas based oil &
gas transaction advisory firm, announces the completion of
the sale of Caprock Oil and Gas, Inc. and certain working
interest party’s interest in the Carm-Ann and Means (San Andres)
Fields located in Gaines and Andrews Counties, Texas.
The sale consisted of Operated interest
in various properties. There were (67) Operated wells in
the package producing 526 BOPD and 265 MCFPD (8/8) from
the San Andres and Queen formations. The Queen Sand is found
at 4,200 ft and the San Andres at 4,600 to 4,800 ft.
The package for Caprock Oil and Gas, Inc.
consisted of (26) leases covering total surface area of
5,360 acres. The Queen formation was previously waterflooded,
and a third party engineering study concluded that there
is additional, significant secondary recovery potential
in the Queen as well as in the San Andres.

ENERGY COMPLETES THE SALE OF HOCKLEY COUNTY PROPERTIES FOR
DISCOVERY OPERATING

Discovery Operating Inc. has completed
the sale of its Whitharral field properties in Hockley County
13 miles northeast of Levelland. The
sale included four leases totaling 640 acres. Each lease
had one active pumping oil well producing from the Lower
Clearfork at 6,800 ft. All four leases were operated by
Discovery. Working interest sold was 100 percent with an
average NRI of 79 percent.

Discovery.

ENERGY MARKETS MULTIPLE ANDREWS/GAINES COUNTY TEXAS ASSETS

Riviera Energy Corporation, a Midland, Texas based oil &
gas transaction advisory firm, has been exclusively retained
to divest two separate packages located in Andrews and Gaines
Counties, Texas. The interests are being offered by Caprock
Oil and Gas, Inc. and Raw Oil and Gas, Inc. The
Caprock Oil and Gas Package is a divestment in the company’s
operated interests in the Carm-Ann and Means (San Andres)
Fields located in Gaines and Andrews Counties, Texas. There
are (67) Operated wells in the package producing 526 BOPD
and 265 MCFPD (8/8) from the San Andres and Queen formations.
The Queen Sand is found at 4,200 ft and the San Andres at
4,600 to 4,800 ft.
Working Interest varies for this package;
however Net Operating Income to the interest being sold
averaged $182,000 per month from April 2003 through March
2004. Net production for May 2004 was 302 BOPD and 148 MCFPD
with 326 BOEPD.
Caprock Oil and Gas, Inc. is offering (26)
leases covering total surface area of 5,360 acres in the
package.
The Queen formation was previously waterflooded,
and a third party engineering study concluded that there
is additional, significant secondary recovery potential
in the Queen as well as in the San Andres.
Riviera Energy Corporation is also assisting
Raw Oil and Gas, Slaton, Texas in a divestment of their
interest in Block A-34 and Means Field, Andrews County,
Texas.
The sale consists of Operated interest in
various properties. There are (22) Operated wells in the
package producing 150 BOPD San Andres & Glorieta formations.
Raw is offering for sale a 100% Working Interest with a
75%, NRI.
The properties have significant secondary
recovery potential and offset a large waterflood project
that is currently being implemented.
The complete package for sale by RAW Oil
and Gas will offer 1,150 total acres.

ENERGY COMPLETES SALE OF LEA COUNTY ASSETS FOR DISCOVERY EXPLORATION
AND NORTHSTAR OPERATING

Riviera Energy Corporation, a Midland, Texas based oil &
gas transaction advisory firm, announces the completion of
the divestiture of various interests in the Trinity Field
for Discovery Exploration, NorthStar Operating, and various
working interest partners. The Trinity Field is located in
Lea County, New Mexico approximately (14) miles west of the
City of Tatum. The Trinity Field
assets included (2) operated wells producing 397 BOPD and
713 MCFPD from the Wolfcamp formation at 6,100′. NorthStar
Operating and Discovery Exploration’s divested interest
consists of a 93.75% Working Interest with an 82.5%, 8/8ths
NRI. Net Operating income from the operated wells averages
an estimated $400,000 per month.
The divestment also includes (8% to 12.5%)
non-operated working interest on (9) producing wells in
the Trinity Field. Production for the non-operated wells
is 700 BOPD and 1,300 MCFPD (8/8ths), also from the Wolfcamp
formation. The Net Income from the Non-Operated interests
averages an estimated $70,000 per month.
The total package offered combined (8/8ths)
production of approximately 1097 BOPD and 2.13 MMCFD with
a NET income on the interest sold of approximately $470,000.00
per month.
The effective date for the divestiture is
July 1, 2004.

ENERGY COMPLETES SALE FOR CROWNQUEST OPERATING, LLC

Riviera Energy Corporation,
a Midland, Texas based oil & gas transaction advisory
firm, announces the completion of the divestiture of the East
Hobbs San Andres Unit for Midland-based CrownQuest Operating,
LLC, Inc. to Arena Resources, Inc. (Tulsa). The Unit is located
in Lea County, New Mexico approximately (2) miles east of
the City of Hobbs. Current production
for the East Hobbs San Andres Unit is approximately 270
Bopd, 320 Mcfpd and 1,800 Bwpd. There are (21) active pumping
oil wells, and a complete disposal system on the unit. The
unitized area encompasses 920 acres. Production is from
the San Andres formation found at an average depth of 4,500′.
Net pay averages 146 feet. The twelve original leases in
the East Hobbs San Andres Field were unitized for the purpose
of developing an 40-acre five spot waterflood. The effective
date of the Unit was March 1, 2004.

Energy Retained to Divest Runnels County Production for JH

Riviera Energy Corporation,
a Midland, Texas based oil & gas transaction advisory
firm, has been exclusively retained by JH Oil, Inc. of Midland
to divest it’s operated interest in the Busher Field located
in Runnels County, Texas approximately seven miles north west
of the City of Ballinger. There
are four leases in the package with a total land position
of 868 acres. The lease have a total of eight active pumping
oil wells. All leases are operated by JH Oil, Inc.. Working
Interest for sale is 100% with and an average NRI of 75%.
Production is from the Morris Sand or Cross Cut Sand at
3,850′ with one well producing from the Palo Pinto Sand
at 3,688′. JH has identified the Palo Pinto behind pipe
in the other wells and there three additional development
locations on the leases. Secondary recovery is also a possibility
from the leases, and the field has been identified as an
attractive waterflood candidate.
Gross production for the Runnels County
divestment is 30 BOPD and 60 MCFPD. 2003 operating income
averaged approximately $20,943 per month.
